Sunshine Survivors

Make the most out of the sun these summer holidays. Learn how plants have adapted to the sun, make botanical prints using sunlight, and put your new nature knowledge to the test when you race your friends for the most efficient waterway raceway! 

Where: Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, Blue Mountains Garden Mount Tomah, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

January dates and times:

  • Mount Annan: 8 – 10, 15 – 19, 22 – 25 | Times: 10am – 12pm or 12.30-2.30pm
  • Mount Tomah: 8 – 10, 12 , 15 – 17, 19, 22 – 24 | Times: 10am – 12pm or 12.30pm – 2.30pm
  • Sydney: 8 – 12, 15 – 19, 22 – 25 | Times: 10am – 12pm or 12.30pm – 2.30pm

 

Capacity: Maximum 81 children per timeslot (3 groups of 27 children per group)  

Price: $15.50 per child (minimum charges may apply)

Indigenous Bird Investigation Squad

Join the First Nation team to investigate one of our most interesting feathered friends the Ibis! Discover its real habitat, food sources and the great job it does to help the Aussie bush. Get to the gardens and help us bring the chicken out of the bin!

Where: Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
